Personally, I think I would rather spend my money on a decent netbook, and have some money left over.
From what I hear, this thing has NO:
Flash player
Multitasking ability
Camera
They say the CPU seems fast, but why wouldn't it be, since it doesn't do much, other than act as a large iPod - shoot, an iPod has more functionality I think.
You are right. You can get a netbook or a convertible tablet pc and do the same thing, but better tho. The things that i hate about it is no Flash, no multitasking, no USB port or card reader unless you get an adapter.
The only thing that I like of it is the GSM 3G connection. It is no contract and 250MB plan for $14.99 or an unlimited plan for $29.99 a month.

searching youtube, this was a description to one of the madtv videos. "When you want to be more technologic with your period... Get the iPad"
haha, yeah, I saw that - funny stuff!
"Press any key to continue"
this is a great way to give college / university students a solid 'laptop' to write notes with and do homework thats price comparable to a actual laptop (I am actually thinking of getting one for my sister for her b-day so she can get rid of her old hand me down IBM laptop )... that being said.... common apple, lol this thing is like a giant Ipod.... but I can see where something like this would be great...
I'll post a full review once mine arrives ... What can I say, over the past 2 yrs I've became a huge Apple guru.
A computer's attention span is as long as its power cord.
I would much rather have the new Lenovo, it has the new intel atom 470, has a real keyboard, can turn into a tablet and is the same price as the baseline iPad.

Nice video of Lenovo iPad but I personally feel iPad will be big failure of the year. Because it lacks so many technologies. I mean there is very small advancement on slate and tablets and I don't think that's enough. Can you think to work on single tasking technology in 20th century.
