Video lighting is important if you want to capture good quality video. My video lighting setup has gotten to be very simple!
Over the past 4-5 years, I have tried a LOT of different lighting setups.
First I tried this DIY video lighting, where I used the standard clamp shop lights, customized with some wax paper to soften the light.
Then I purchased a set of soft boxes (kit of 3), in which I have since loaned to our friend Zach from I.T. Career Questions so he can try them out on his videos.
.Now, I am using this battery powered LED light.

This light has worked out great! I have since began using it with my shoot-through umbrella to soften the light. I don’t need to use the umbrella, but I like the way it produces light during my video recordings.
Do you use something similar for video lighting? What do you use?
